With three solid wins against West LA, Glendale, and Citrus, the Chaffey Panthers took the 2017 Compton College Tartar Classic championship for their second consecutive tournament title. Tournament action began Monday with an overtime win for the Panthers over West LA after closing regulation play tied at 66. The men went on to play Glendale Tuesday, leading from start to finish and defeating the Vaqueros 80-75 to advance to the championship round against Citrus Wednesday. Citrus and Chaffey ended the first half tied at 26 with the Panthers pulling out the stops in the 2nd period to topple the Owls 60-65.
