PANTHERS OPEN SEASON AT HOME AGAINST RCC

The Panthers hosted Riverside City yesterday for the opening game of the 2019 season.  The teams were tied after the first inning 2-2 with Arianna Villegas and Alyssa Diaz scoring in the initial inning.  The Tigers continued strong with Chaffey giving up an additional 7 runs, final 9-2 in a full 7 innings.  Returner Precious Moreno started on the mound for Chaffey facing 16 before being relieved by Brianna Bernal in the 4th.  Veronica Macias closed out the final inning.  The ladies travel to Desert tomorrow.
