Bio
Daniel Bunhardi, BS, ATC, serves as a certified athletic trainer for Chaffey College Athletics, where he provides injury prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation services for the college’s intercollegiate sports programs. He returned to Chaffey’s sports medicine staff in February 2025, bringing experience across multiple levels of athletic training and a commitment to student-athlete health and performance.
Originally from Indonesia, Bunhardi moved to the United States in July 2012 and has since developed a career grounded in education, practical experience and professional service. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from California State University, Long Beach in December 2020, following an Associate of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Santa Barbara City College in spring 2018.
Bunhardi’s professional journey includes athletic training and sports medicine experience with several programs throughout Southern California. He worked with La Puente High School from November 2021 to August 2022, assisting with the school’s Soccer Summer Camp and Woodward West programs in summer 2022 and served as an athletic trainer for Chaffey College from August 2022 through October 2024. He then spent a term with San Bernardino Valley College from October 2024 to January 2025 before returning to Chaffey College in February 2025.
A member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) since 2019 and the California Community College Athletic Trainers’ Association (CCCATA), Bunhardi remains active in continuing education and professional development within the athletic training field. His approach emphasizes evidence-based care, injury prevention and student-centered rehabilitation.
