The men were hungry for a playoff win tonight and it showed on the court as the Panthers defeated LA Valley 76-62 in Round 2 of CCCAA playoffs. Led by Manu Oulai and Isaiah McCullough the Panthers were up at the half 37-32. By the final horn, Oulai had racked up 23 and McCullough 21 against a strong Valley defense.
"Chaffey went on a 14-2 run to end the game. Great team defense led to some easy transition baskets. Anthony Garcia showed great leadership and toughness from the point guard spot. Manu and Isaiah made some big shots down the stretch to secure the win," remarked Head Coach Jeff Klein.
The men will host West LA next Saturday night at 7pm for the final round of regional playoffs.
