PANTHERS GO THE DISTANCE - GET THE WIN AT SAN DIEGO MESA

Panther Men's Basketball made their longest trip of the season last night, defeating San Diego Mesa on their home court 86-59. 

"It was a great experience for the team," said Head Coach Jeff Klein.  "The overnighter to San Diego built team spirit and will help with confidence as we approach the conference season."  The Panthers led from start to finish, outscoring the Olympians in both periods of play including a 44-28 lead at the half.

All fourteen Chaffey athletes had the opportunity to participate and all contributed to the team's victory.  Manu Oulai had a season high 26 points.  Fellow returner Aaron Johnson added 13.

The Panthers go into the Thanksgiving break 5-3 overall and return to the Sports Center December 4th to take on Santiago Canyon College at 5pm.
