Danielle Singley Named IEAC Athlete of the Week
November 5, 2025
Chaffey College sophomore guard/forward Danielle Singley has been named the Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) Athlete of the Week for women's basketball for Oct. 27-Nov. 1.
Singley delivered a standout performance in Chaffey's home opener, guiding the Panthers to their first win of the season with 22 points, eight rebounds, and an efficient 9-of-16 shooting from the field against San Diego Mesa College. Her impact was felt on both ends of the court, as she provided scoring versatility, physicality in the paint, and the steady leadership expected from a returning IEAC All-Team second-team selection.
Despite battling early foul trouble that forced her to sit out an entire quarter, Singley returned to the floor and immediately reestablished control for the Panthers. She played the final 28 minutes of the contest, helping Chaffey outscore the Olympians in critical stretches, including a decisive 26-point fourth quarter that lifted the Panthers to a 78-72 victory. In addition to her scoring efficiency, Singley added eight rebounds and provided strong interior presence and defensive discipline throughout the contest.
