Alexa Pereida Named IEAC Athlete of the Week
Chaffey College sophomore Alexa Pereida has been named the Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) Athlete of the Week for women's soccer for the week of September 29-October 4.

During the week, Pereida controlled the tempo in Chaffey's 2-0 win over San Bernardino Valley College, directing play through the middle third and contributing to both scoring sequences. She had a consistent work rate and command in possession during in the narrow 1-0 loss to Mt. San Antonio College.
Head Coach Daniel Fox praised Pereida's influence and consistency, noting, "Alexa has been setting the tone all season with her leadership and composure. She controls the game for us in the midfield and leads by example both on and off the field."
