Ten Panthers Earn IEAC All-Conference Honors
The Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) has announced its 2025 Women's Soccer All-Conference Team, with ten Panthers earning conference honors, including one major award recipient.
Sophomore forward Gionna Diez was named the IEAC Offensive Player of the Year, emerging as one of the league's most dynamic attacking threats. Diez recorded 10 goals, three assists, and previously earned IEAC Second-Team honors in 2024. She was also named the IEAC Player of the Week from Sept. 1–6 after a standout early-season performance.
Four Panthers were placed on the First Team All-Conference list, underscoring the program's depth, balance, and consistency throughout the year. First-team selections included:
Alexa Pereida – Midfielder (Two-Time Honoree)
Chloe Rodriguez – Defender
Karina Parchment – Forward
Isabella Ortiz – Goalkeeper
Sophomore midfielder Pereida played a central role in Chaffey's attacking structure, finishing with nine goals and six assists while dictating tempo in midfield. Pereida's strong midseason form earned her IEAC Player of the Week honors from Sept. 29–Oct. 4. Pereida earned Second Team All-Conference honors in 2024 as well. Sophomore defender Rodriguez organized the defensive line and contributed five assists through her long-range distribution and composure in buildup play. Freshman forward Parchment matched Pereida with 10 goals and added six assists, providing one of the conference's most reliable scoring options. Parchment was also recognized as the IEAC Player of the Week from Nov. 3–8. Sophomore goalkeeper Ortiz commanded the defensive third with 35 saves, a .761 save percentage, and eight shutouts, offering stability in high-pressure moments.
The Panthers also earned four Second Team All-Conference selections:
Sofia Guerrero – Defender
Emma Guadron – Defender
Natalia Gonzalez – Midfielder
Tegan Garcia – Defender
Chaffey's second-team honorees highlighted the strength of its defensive core. Sophomore defender Guerrero contributed two goals from the back line while using her recovery speed and timing to disrupt opposing attacks. Freshman defender Guadron added reliability and one assist as part of her consistent defensive work rate. Freshman defender Garcia reinforced the unit with dependable 1v1 defending and contributed an assist from the back line. In midfield, Sophomore midfielder Gonzalez provided steady two-way play with one goal and one assist, helping the Panthers maintain structure and connect phases of play.
One Panther received Honorable Mention recognition:
Geneve Ashton – Forward
Freshman forward Ashton earned Honorable Mention, rounding out Chaffey's list of honorees. Ashton added meaningful minutes in the attack, recording two goals and a 50% shooting percentage while emerging as a promising contributor.
This year's All-Conference honors reflect the program's balanced roster and high-level performance across every position group. The selections further reinforce Chaffey's sustained development throughout the season and continued success within the IEAC.
