Bria Love Named IEAC Athlete of the Week
Chaffey College sophomore Bria Love has been named the Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) Athlete of the Week following a strong all-around performance for volleyball from Oct. 13-18.
As an outside hitter, Love showcased her versatility and composure on both sides of the ball throughout the week. In the Panthers' matchup against College of the Desert on Oct. 15, Love contributed seven kills and 10 digs, continuing her role as a consistent passer and primary attacking option. Against Mt. San Jacinto College on Oct. 17, she delivered a complete performance with nine kills, 10 digs, and one service ace, helping drive Chaffey's offensive rhythm while providing steady coverage in the back row.
Head Coach Haley Gomez praised Love's impact, telling the IEAC, "Bria is a great competitor and a smart outside hitter. She brings a ton of energy and is a very consistent serve-receive passer for our team."
