Four Panthers Earn IEAC All-Conference Honors
The Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) has announced its 2025 Women's Volleyball All-Conference Team, with four Panthers earning conference honors.
Sophomore Grace Hoang was named to the First Team All-Conference list, highlighting her exceptional defensive consistency throughout the season. As a libero, Hoang delivered one of the strongest defensive campaigns in the IEAC, anchoring the back row with team highs of 207 digs and an impressive 3.34 digs per set. Her serve-receive consistency, floor coverage, and ability to read hitters elevated the Panthers' defensive structure. Hoang also added 15 service aces and 48 assists, showcasing her impact in both serve-receive and transition play. Her standout performances earned two IEAC Athlete of the Week honors from Aug. 25-30 and Nov. 3-8, reaffirming her role as one of the conference's most impactful defensive specialists.
Sophomore Bria Love earned Second Team All-Conference honors after contributing 131 kills, 153 digs, and five block assists across 18 matches. As an outside hitter, Love provided a balanced combination of attacking power and defensive reliability, averaging 2.47 digs per set. Her ability to stabilize the serve-receive patterns, extend rallies, and finish swings in key moments made her vital to Chaffey's offensive structure. Love was also named IEAC Athlete of the Week from Oct. 13-18.
Two Panthers received Honorable Mention recognition:
Emma Rhodes – Middle Blocker
Natalia Frausto – Setter
Freshman middle blocker Rhodes emerged as one of the Panthers' most productive front-row contributors, finishing the season with 91 kills, 25 total blocks (five solo, 20 assisted), and a 1.52 kills-per-set average. Her presence at the net provided essential blocking coverage and reliable quick-attack scoring options in transition. Rhodes was honored as the IEAC Athlete of the Week from Oct. 27-Nov. 1. Freshman setter Frausto rounded out Chaffey's honorees, distributing 121 assists and adding 65 digs across the season. Frausto's court awareness, steady ball placement, and ability to organize serve-receive rotations helped the Panthers run a more efficient and structured attack as the season progressed.
These All-Conference selections highlight the emerging talent within a young roster and the individual strides made throughout a challenging, developmental, and resilient 2025 season.
