Panthers Battle at Mt. San Jacinto in Season Finale
The Chaffey College women's volleyball team wrapped up the 2025 season on Wednesday evening with a road Inland Empire Athletic Conference matchup at Mt. San Jacinto College, falling in straight sets (25-8, 26-24, 25-15). The Panthers battled through long rallies and late-set pushes, particularly in the second frame, but were unable to overcome the Eagles' steady offensive pressure.
Emma Rhodes and Bria Love led the Chaffey attack, each finishing with four kills to pace the offense. Rhodes added one service ace, one dig, and three block assists, while Love contributed seven digs and one block assist across three sets. Lailah Williams had an impactful presence at the net with two kills on five attempts, three block assists, and one assist.
Natalia Frausto delivered a balanced performance with three assists, one kill, and one ace, while Madalyn Ayers-Morris distributed four assists, added one ace, and posted three digs. Grace Hoang led the backcourt with one dig and one service ace, and Daija Harmon added one kill and one ace in her lone set of action.
At the service line, Rachel Buck and Hoang each recorded aces, while the Panthers totaled five aces as a team. Defensively, Chaffey collected 17 digs and six total blocks, highlighted by contributions from Rhodes, Williams, and Love.
The Panthers concluded the season at 2-18 overall and 0-10 in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference.
